No thread, no bobbin, no tension!
That´s right, this machine requires no thread, five barbed
needles do all the work. When the needles punch through
two pieces of fabric, the fibers become entangled and
become permanently attached to each other. Create more
unique effects with yarn and wool roving. The technique is
fun and creative. It´s a fast way to embellish garments
and home decorations.

The Fab Felter is a needle felting machine. It does not sew, but uses barbed needles to mesh
fabrics together. The fibers mingle to create new color and texture combinations that simply cannot be
achieved with embroidery, appliqué, or any other kind of needlework. It doesn't require thread, a
bobbin, or any previous sewing experience.

The SideWinder’s compact size means it fits anywhere,
and since it runs on batteries or with a power cord, the
SideWinder can be used anywhere—in class, on
location, or at home! For sewing, quilting or crafting, let
the SideWinder keep your creativity flowing!
The SideWinder comes with a power cord/AC adapter,
but also runs on 2 AA batteries (not included) for
ultimate portability. It accommodates most commonly
used bobbins that have a round center hole. It measures
3” high by 5 ¼” wide by 3 ½” deep, so it truly is compact.
It has a built-in carrying handle and two spindles for
storing extra bobbins (bobbins not included).

Approved and is for indoor use only.

Embroidery Thread. Five year dye lot guarantee color fast and strong.
A high sheen, high tensile strength, lubricated embroidery thread which
results in excellent production and adds magnificent color and luster to
your finished products. All phases of the manufacturing process are
performed in-house to insure quality. Employees are thoroughly trained on
the use of the equipment and internal procedures to maintain high level of
quality. Each cone is coded so that a lot number, machine, and operator
can be identified if necessary. Each lot of new raw material is inspected
and tested to make certain the quality of materials going into production
are sufficient for producing a quality product. The same is true for finished
products. An internal lab is used to test random samples of raw materials
and finished cones, for control reasons. Furthermore, an independent,
international testing lab is used to measure the quality of threads with
respect to tensile strength and color fastness.
No environmentally harmful products or carcinogens are utilized in dye stuff
from the water used in production. The inert sandy, grit material which
remains is used as a land fill substance to help fight erosion along the
coastlines. The use of certain dyes may change in order to adhere to
environmental safety regulations.
